On the 12th of July 2019, the FSCA published the levies imposed on financial institutions. Levies on financial institutions are payable according to the levy notice that is published every year by the FSCA.
The aforementioned notice imposes levies on the following financial institutions:
Retirement annuity funds;
Short-term insurers and Lloyd’s underwriters;
Collective investments schemes in securities;
Foreign collective investment schemes;
Collective investment schemes in property;
Collective investment schemes in participation bonds;
Collective investment schemes in hedge funds;
Authorised financial services providers;
Central securities depositories;
Financial markets ( in respect of market abuse); and
Credit rating agencies.
